Indonesia president SBY resilient Energy Basis Point

JAKARTA - In Limited Cabinet Meeting the energy sector and mineral resources that took place at the Pertamina headquarters on Tuesday (08/07/2012), President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono emphasized the importance of nation's ability to have a resilient energy basis.
"The energy sector is important, the needs of our society and into the lives of all of them as food," the president said in the introductory session which was attended by the vice president and several members KiB II, among others Coordinating Minister Djoko Suyanto, Coordinating Minister Agung Laksono, Minister EMR Jero Wacik, Minister of Tranport EE Mangindaan, Minister of Industry MS Hidayat, and Minister for Trade Gita Wiryawan.
Currently, the president continued, the more the world's population, but diminishing energy reserves. This leads to competition for energy.
According to the president, the government should have policies, strategies, and programs appropriate action to provide direction so that in future we have a resilient energy basis.
The President believes, the future national energy security will be even stronger. He reveals, a number of important projects will improve energy security, such as the realization of the East Natuna, Masela, Tangguh, Cepu, and elsewhere. "Tough targeted Masela and in 2018 was able to flow, while the 2014 Cepu can operate," said the President. (source : EMR)
